A
Special Thank You Goes Out To . . . |

Mike
Hilsher has been the backbone of the Beer Barn for more
years than we can count. Without his dedication and heart we
would be lost. Thank you so much Mike. We look forward to working
with you for many years to come. |
|
Don Cowley's
involvement goes back
to the very conception of the Great Texas Mosquito Festival.
He has been a volunteer, a Clute Parks Board Member and/or a Swat Team
board member ever since. He reigned over the booths before
assisting Mike in the beer barn. We applaud your dedication and look
forward to working with you in 2009! |

Ron McCulley
has dedicated many hours as a Swat Team Member and working as
our Booth Chairman for the Festival. He will go that extra
mile to help out when he is needed outside of the booth area.
Your dependability and willing to work has not gone unnoticed.
So keep up the good work and will see you in 2009! |

"Gal" Sarah
Pauline Adams
is one of a kind...from the jokester to the serious volunteer, she
is always available to do whatever needs to be done. There is
little she hasn't done for our festival, from the planning, to
serving on the Clute Parks Board, to running errands, folding shirts, or
helping in any way possible to make our event special. So keep
up the good work! |

 |
Billie McCulley
has the ability to adapt to any task put before her!
Billie is the Chairman of the Clute Parks Board who works hand in
hand with the SWAT TEAM to make our festival such a success.
As a key volunteer she is willing to do whatever we ask her to
do...she is ready, willing, and extremely capable of carrying out
the task without any supervision. She doesn't need to be
asked, she just joins in when she sees we need HELP! You ROCK
Billie! |
 |
Betty Cowley
the Queen of our
Souvenirs has reigned over our Souvenir Booth for almost the entire
29 years! She has spent hours folding, organizing, and then
selling the souvenirs during the festival. RAIN or SHINE Betty
is always there to insure our booth is open. So stop by and
see her at the 29th Annual Great Texas Mosquito Festival! |

GTMF COOK-OFF
COMMITTEE has actively
been working for the past 9 years to make sure that our BBQ & Fajita
Cook-off & GrillMaster events are a huge success. Each of
these dedicated volunteers can take pride in the fact they brought
us National attention when the Food Network filmed this event.
Whether your job is in logistics, table monitoring, result
officials, planning, or trash collection, you made this a success
year after year. Thanks for all your hard work! |
